Who Am I?

I know that I have written a post "About Me," but I came to realize that there is more to me then just what I wrote in that posting.  So who am I?  Read on.

As you will see from the part of the "About Me" post, I am a Wiccan.  I was a Christian for the longest.  I left Christendom for this reason and this reason only, "There are far too many arrogant Christians out there."  That is not the Christian ideology.  The core of most if not all faith/religions are based on the foundation of love.

There is a lot more to me then my faith, though my faith is the core of what I am today.  By learning, experiencing, and growing in my own personal faith, I will take each new step in hopefully a better me.  Everyone and everything constantly change.  The environment constantly changes all around us.  Nothing stand still for long.

Faith is the core of our understanding and the force that guides us all. I believe that each person has their own unique and personal faith system, even under the same religion.  If no two people think alike, then how can two people believe alike?  Right now there are over 6 billion people on Earth.  How many faith/religions do you think is out there in the world?  If you said over 6 billion, then you would be right.

We all have to live our own lives in our own way.  No one can ever do it for us.  It is our responsibility to live our own lives.  Hopefully when we become parents, we will in turn teach our children to do the same.  Things like this must be taught in the home.....by the parents or guardians.  The result of how parents do teach their own children is the result of how a community evolves.

The second half of the " About Me" post is I have graduated at Lanier Technical College in Oakwood, Georgia.  I graduated with a certificate and three diplomas in the computer field.   I am constantly learning exploring the fast growing technical wonders that are out there.  I have many social networking accounts:  Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Blogs, Friendfeed, Linkedin, Photobucket, SecondLife, YouTube, and others.

It is very important in different means and in different ways to be apart of social networking online.  SecondLife is a very important part of the future of the Internet.  There have been many articles like from Ciol News, that by 2011 80% of all active Internet users will be on SecondLife by 2011.  I have join the top services dealing with Social Networking" online.  The future is already out there.

I have an account with SecondLife right now.  Why I love SecondLife so much, and why I think it is so popular today is due to the creativity aspect.  All that you see in many, many, many worlds and simulations of the real world have been created by the users in SecondLife.  That is the power of this 3-D virtual reality.  There is no limit, other then the imagination, to what can be done in SecondLife.

I am a male in real life, but I have a female avatar in SecondLife.  It does not that I do not like being a male in SecondLife or first life.  Right now, there are more outfits, hairs, and all the rest for a female avatar vs. a male.  I have enough limitations in my own personal life as it is, thank you very much.  I had a male avatar at one time, but I was starting to have major log in issues with him.  Once I created, FraterPhoenix Finesmith, I have not had any serious log in issues.

Being a female avatar is not the only thing I can be in SecondLife.  I have bought great many avatars of all kinds of animals:  lion, dinosaurs, several kinds of fish, dragons, insects, etc.  The important thing is how you relate to others.  That is so true in real life, second life, or any other form of life existence. There are more people coming together from all over the world due to social networking.

For the lesser important aspects of who I am.  I am an avid book reader.  Through the 42 years of my life, I have collected over 4,000 books.  For the most part the information in them are still useful today.  My favorite genres are science fiction, mysteries, good romance, and adventure stories.  Stargate SG1 and Star Wars have to be my two favorite science fiction shows.  In this blog, I talk about the stories that I have written and posted online as well as the other blogs that I have online.

I am also a collector of a good many things:  stamps, coins, some comic books, non-sports trading cards, etc.  By collecting things like these, I bring myself to the wonders of life that is all around us.  There is art in just about all things.  From art, one can learn a great deal about people, culture, and every aspect of life itself.  There is far more to learn about things then just cold hard facts.

To learn more of who and what I am, please continue to read my blogs and other writings that I have and will post online.  Reading is a very important fundamental part of our lives.  There is nothing so important.  When we strengthen our vocabulary, we strengthen our minds.

Blessed Be to Isis and you,
